This role offers the opportunity to handle a broad spectrum of trademark matters, including clearance, counseling, and domestic and international prosecution and enforcement.

This partner-track position is ideal for attorneys who are detail-oriented, client-focused, and interested in building a sophisticated trademark practice with exposure to high-profile intellectual property matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct trademark clearance searches and provide strategic counseling to clients
• Manage domestic and international trademark prosecution processes
• Assist in trademark enforcement actions and provide litigation support
• Develop and implement trademark protection strategies for clients
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams on brand protection matters
• Stay current with developments in trademark law and global IP trends

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience as a Trademark Associate Attorney or IP Attorney
• Strong background in trademark clearance, prosecution, and counseling
• Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction or eligibility to sit for/waive into the bar (DC Bar preferred)
• Excellent analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills
• Strong academic credentials
• Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently
