Job Description

As a Program Associate, Email Marketing, your role involves supporting and growing product-led email programs to assist users in moving through activation, adoption, and expansion. You will collaborate closely with IT, Marketing Operations, Product Analytics, Product Marketing, Product, and regional teams to deliver thoughtful, timely, and locally relevant email experiences. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Executing the email marketing strategy, encompassing audience sourcing, nurture flow design, automation, and product-triggered messaging
  • Building and managing automated, scalable email programs using Marketo, such as lifecycle and behavior-based flows
  • Designing and executing email experimentation (A/B and multivariate testing) to optimize subject lines, messaging, timing, and conversion performance
  • Working with cross-functional teams to identify, build, and operationalize email triggers based on product telemetry and user behavior
  • Actively sourcing new audience segments to broaden the email campaign reach
  • Supporting the scaling of product-led and lifecycle email programs across different regions

Your role also involves managing operational health and optimization nurtures, guiding users towards best practices, feature adoption, and improved system performance. This includes various nurture programs tailored to distinct use cases, personas, and stages of the user journey, triggered by in-product signals, usage patterns, and lifecycle milestones. You will collaborate with Analytics to track performance and enhance engagement and conversion continuously.

Additionally, ensuring operational excellence, compliance with email regulations, and maintaining quality across all email programs will be part of your responsibilities. You will contribute to documentation and best practices for repeatable and scalable execution. Collaborating with various teams such as Product Marketing, Product, IT, Marketing Operations, and Product Analytics to align messaging with product priorities and user journeys is essential for successful email campaigns.

To excel in this role, you should have 2-3 years of experience working with email marketing platforms, familiarity with lifecycle marketing, nurture programs, and product-led growth concepts, and the ability to translate product signals and user behavior into clear, helpful messaging for customers. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced environment are also crucial for success.
