Yali Aerospace is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to develop secure and reliable flight software for next-generation UAV systems.

This role involves building and customizing low-level drone software, developing secure firmware architectures, and working closely with aerospace and embedded teams to create mission-ready autonomous systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize embedded software for UAV platforms
• Work on secure flight-control firmware and communication systems
• Customize and improve flight-stack architectures for performance and reliability
• Integrate sensors, telemetry systems, communication modules, and onboard computing systems
• Develop software features related to navigation, mission control, failsafe logic, and autonomous operations
• Debug, test, and validate embedded systems during ground and flight testing
• Collaborate with hardware, avionics, and product development teams

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in C/C++ for embedded systems
• Experience with embedded Linux, RTOS, or microcontroller-based systems
• Knowledge of UAV software architecture and flight-control systems
• Prior experience with PX4 or ArduPilot is highly preferred
• Understanding of MAVLink, telemetry systems, and communication protocols is a plus
• Familiarity with secure firmware development and embedded system security concepts preferred
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced engineering environment
• Immediate joiners preferred
