How to cancel your subscription

Cancellation takes under a minute. There is no phone call, no email back-and-forth, and no hidden retention loop. You can cancel from your dashboard or directly through the Stripe billing portal. You keep full access until the end of your current billing period either way.

Option A: Cancel from your dashboard (recommended)

The fastest path. One click inside the app.

    Open your dashboard

    Sign in at tryapplynow.com and go to Settings > Billing. You can also reach it directly via the Subscription card on the dashboard home.

    Click Cancel subscription

    On the Subscription card, click Cancel. You will see a short retention prompt with options to pause or switch plans. If you still want to cancel, confirm with Yes, cancel.

    Confirm and you are done

    Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep full Pro or Growth access until that date. You will get an email confirmation right away.

Option B: Cancel via the Stripe billing portal

If you prefer to manage payment methods, download invoices, or cancel from outside the app, use the Stripe-hosted billing portal.

    Open the billing portal

    From Settings > Billing, click Manage Billing. This opens a secure Stripe-hosted portal in a new tab. You can also open it from the link in any TryApplyNow invoice email.

    Choose your subscription

    If you have more than one active subscription, pick the TryApplyNow plan you want to cancel. Click Cancel plan.

    Pick a reason (optional)

    Stripe asks for a short reason so we can improve the product. This is optional. Click Cancel subscription to finish.

    Get your confirmation

    You will see a confirmation in the portal and receive an email from Stripe. Your TryApplyNow dashboard will show the cancellation date within a minute.

What happens after you cancel

  • Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period. The exact date is shown on the Subscription card and in your confirmation email.
  • After the period ends, your account drops to the Free plan. No data is deleted. Your resumes, saved jobs, application history, and Insider Connections records all stay.
  • You can resubscribe anytime from Settings › Billing. The same account and data come right back online.
  • To delete the account entirely, email privacy@tryapplynow.com.

Frequently asked questions

Do I lose access right away?

No. Cancellation is scheduled for the end of your current billing period. You keep full Pro or Growth access until that date, so you can finish in-flight applications, exports, and resumes. After the period ends, your account stays open on the Free plan.

Will I be charged again?

No. Once cancelled, no future charges are made. If a payment was already processed for the current period, that payment stands and you keep access until the period ends. See our Refund Policy for the specific cases where a refund may be issued.

Can I keep my account after I cancel?

Yes. Your account, resumes, saved jobs, application history, and Insider Connections records all stay on the account. You can sign in on the Free plan anytime, or resume Pro from the dashboard with one click.

How do I delete my account entirely?

Cancelling a paid plan does not delete the account. To delete your account and erase your data, email privacy@tryapplynow.com. We process deletion requests within 30 days as required under GDPR, CCPA, and the DPDP Act.

What if the cancel button is not working?

Use the Stripe billing portal as a fallback (Settings › Billing › Manage Billing). If that also fails, email support@tryapplynow.com with the email on your account and we will cancel it for you within one business day.

Where do I find my invoices?

All invoices live in the Stripe billing portal under Invoice history. Open them from Settings › Billing › Manage Billing. You can download a PDF copy of any invoice from there.

Still stuck?

Email support@tryapplynow.com from the address on your account and we will cancel it manually within one business day. Include the last four digits of the card on file if you have it handy, so we can match the right subscription.
