Senior Educational Curriculum Developer

Our client, a progressive educational institution, is seeking an experienced Senior Educational Curriculum Developer to join their academic team in Surat, Gujarat, IN . This role is crucial in designing, developing, and implementing innovative and effective curricula that meet evolving educational standards and student needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pedagogy, instructional design, and a passion for creating engaging learning experiences. This position requires a dedicated professional who can collaborate effectively with educators, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to enhance the educational offerings of the institution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Design and Development: Design, develop, and revise academic curricula for various levels and subjects, ensuring alignment with national and international educational standards and institutional goals.
• Instructional Design: Create engaging and effective learning materials, including lesson plans, study guides, assessments, and digital learning content.
• Content Integration: Ensure that curricula incorporate diverse teaching methodologies, learning technologies, and formative and summative assessment strategies.
• Subject Matter Expert Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts to translate their knowledge into coherent and accessible curriculum frameworks and materials.
• Evaluation and Revision: Evaluate the effectiveness of existing curricula and implement revisions based on feedback, assessment data, and pedagogical research.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality, accuracy, and relevance of all curriculum materials. Conduct peer reviews and content validation.
• Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest trends in educational theory, curriculum development, and instructional technology. Contribute to the professional development of faculty members.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate curriculum plans, progress, and outcomes to relevant stakeholders, including faculty, administrators, and external reviewers.

Qualifications

• Education: Master's degree or Ph.D. in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Design, or a related field. Strong academic background.
• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or educational program management. Proven experience in developing curricula for K-12 or higher education.
• Pedagogical Knowledge: Deep understanding of learning theories, instructional design principles, assessment strategies, and educational technology.
• Skills: Excellent analytical, research, writing, and editing skills. Proficiency in curriculum development software and learning management systems (LMS). Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse groups of professionals.
