Industrial Process Engineer

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Process Engineer to join their operations team in Delhi, Delhi . This critical role will involve analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. The successful candidate will have a strong background in industrial engineering principles, lean manufacturing, and process improvement methodologies. You will be responsible for identifying bottlenecks, implementing solutions, and ensuring the smooth operation of production lines.

Responsibilities: Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Develop and implement process improvements using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen. Design and redesign production layouts and workflows to optimize material and information flow. Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for new and existing processes. Conduct time studies, capacity planning, and production scheduling analysis. Collaborate with production teams, quality assurance, and management to implement and monitor process changes. Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions. Utilize CAD software for process simulation and layout design. Develop and maintain process documentation, performance metrics, and reports. Stay abreast of the latest industrial engineering technologies and best practices.

Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Industrial Process Engineer or in a similar role. Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred), and continuous improvement initiatives. Proficiency in process modeling and simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim) and CAD software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data. Excellent understanding of manufacturing operations, production planning, and quality control. Strong project management and organizational skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments. Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab) is essential.
