Branch Teller
Job Summary
This position is responsible for delivering a best-in-class customer experience while processing financial transactions, assisting existing and prospective customers, and contributing to branch sales objectives.
Primary Duties:
- Deliver outstanding customer experiences by consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations
- Process basic customer interactions and cash transactions accurately
- Monitor and balance cash daily to maintain financial accuracy
- Identify referral opportunities that support branch performance goals
- Comply with all applicable banking laws and regulations, including Atlantic Union Bankshares’ BSA/AML Policy and Procedures
- Identify risks and escalate concerns through proper channels
- Maintain knowledge of bank products, services, and related business areas
- Adapt effectively to evolving digital banking tools and channels
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Reporting Line:
This role reports directly to the branch leader.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Cash handling experience preferred
- Prior customer service experience required

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Sound judgment and decision making ability
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail
- Adaptability and flexibility in changing environments
