Job Summary
This role will lead Digital Marketing and Public Relations (PR) for Zimmer Biomet India and will manage the representation and repute of Zimmer Biomet. Role collaborates with internal stakeholders to evolve and optimise companies digital marketing goals, strategies, and tactics including applicable content development to support product portfolio and enhance customer engagement. The role will play a key role in swaying opinions and behaviour, both internally and externally, through various communication channels, including social media channels, press coverage, email campaigns, websites, and more.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Digital Marketing
- Demonstrating knowledge and understanding of all traditional and non-traditional consumer marketing channels, including print, online, broadcast, social media, search engine optimization, marketing databases, display advertising, website and advertising analytics tools and provide strategic direction for the development of Zimmer Biomet’s digital marketing goals.
- Defining the vision, strategy and implementation of digital marketing solutions that enhance the customer & patient experience for the organization and collaborate with other marketing managers, medical education teams to identify and prioritize a portfolio through digital marketing & customer engagement programs that enable Zimmer Biomet brand strategies.
- Design, build and maintain digital marketing content, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns for stronger social media presence (including required internal training and communications for effective utilization) and also identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
- Understanding the trends and macro shifts in how patients / HCPs access information via different digital channels in India, predicting rates of change and relating this back to the business and aligning with global digital marketing initiatives, and applicable guidelines / policies such as Social Media / Code of Business Conduct and Ethics etc. Collecting marketing data and analysing customer and web behaviour.
- Calendarize, organizes, and maintains strong social media presence across platforms and measures and reports performance of all digital marketing campaigns and evaluates against goals (ROI and KPIs).
- Collaborate with the HR team in devising communication strategy (creative & messaging) for internal and external audience to promote employer brand
Public Relations
- Collaborate with APAC Corporate Communication Lead and internal teams and maintain open communication with LT in India
- Partners with internal teams like HR and Marketing to create internal communication campaigns to cascade critical messages and success stories to the employees across the organization
- Edit and update promotional material and publications (brochures, videos, social media posts etc.) then route to APAC Corporate Communications for review/approval.
- Prepare and distribute press releases in partnership with APAC Corporate Communications Lead
- Organize local PR events (e.g. open days, conferences) in collaboration with APAC Corporate Comms Lead
- Address local inquiries from the media and other parties and manage local PR issues
- Track local media coverage and follow industry trends
Expected Outcomes:
- Raise Zimmer Biomet brand in India through media coverage and PR Campaign
- Build relationships with key organizations and media to seed proactive stories in India
- Work closely with Regional Corporate Communications Lead to profile and increase ZB share of voice in positive media coverage and to support India/regional/HQ positioning and customer lead generation in the local markets
- Engage with priority local and regional media to share updates on milestones and secure on-message coverage
- Proactively showcase key partnerships and customer wins to drive business awareness and demand at the local level
- Prepare local leadership team to be most effective in media interviews / with reporters
- Assess opportunities to participate in award that can bring positive brand influence and impact for Zimmer Biomet.

Education/Experience Requirements
The successful candidate must possess the following:
- Full-time MBA in Marketing/Advertising from premium B-School
The candidate must have the following level of experience in, or knowledge of:
- 8 to 10 years of experience preferably in Healthcare/Medical Device or FMCG company
- Good understanding of regulatory requirements applicable to pharma / medical device companies including but not limited to magic remedies act, data privacy laws etc
