Job Description

As a Key Account Manager Imports, your role will involve driving sales and demand generation for imported and exotic fruits across South India. You will be responsible for onboarding and managing wholesalers, distributors, HoReCa, and modern retail accounts. Building strong key account relationships to ensure repeat business and volume growth will be a crucial aspect of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will handle pricing, negotiations, and order closures with trade partners, track market trends, demand patterns, and pricing movements, and work closely with sourcing, category, and supply chain teams to align demand and supply. Ensuring smooth order fulfillment, logistics coordination, and service levels, as well as managing collections and receivables to maintain account health, will also be part of your duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications Required:

  • 35 years of experience in B2B sales, fruit trading, wholesale, HoReCa, or modern retail
  • Strong exposure to fresh fruits, fresh produce, and agri supply chain
  • Experience in key account management, distributor handling, and business development
  • Exposure to imported or exotic fruits is preferred
  • Good understanding of South India markets (Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad)
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
