Store & Inventory Manager

About Job:

To manage the receipt, storage, issuance, and accounting of raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and consumables in accordance with SOPs, GMP guidelines, and inventory control systems in a cosmetics manufacturing setup.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Material Management:

• Receive raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables as per purchase orders.
• Ensure proper stacking, tagging, and storage as per product sensitivity (e.g., temperature, light).
• Maintain segregation of materials as per batch, type, and usage classification.

2. Inventory Control:

• Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/manual registers.
• Conduct physical stock checks and reconcile with system records.
• Ensure FIFO/FEFO methods are followed to minimize material aging.

3. Issuance & Documentation:

• Issue materials to production based on indents and production schedules.
• Maintain records of goods issued and returned.
• Prepare GRNs, stock registers, and MIS reports for internal audits.

4. Compliance & Safety:

• Adhere to GMP, ISO, and internal SOPs for handling cosmetic materials.
• Ensure hygiene and pest control practices in the store area.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for material approval before storage/issue.

5. Coordination:

• Liaise with purchase, production, and quality departments for smooth operations.
• Track incoming materials and alert for delays or discrepancies.
• Work with logistics for dispatch of finished goods and managing FG stores if applicable.

6. Audit & Reporting:

• Prepare for internal and external audits (FDA, ISO, etc.).
• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly stock and consumption reports.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Graduate/Diploma in Supply Chain / B.Com / B.Sc / B.Pharm or related field.
• Experience: 2–5 years in a similar stores role, preferably in FMCG or cosmetics manufacturing.

Skills

• Knowledge of storekeeping practices & inventory software (SAP/ERP/Tally).
• Understanding of GMP/GLP and cosmetic manufacturing norms.
• Strong record-keeping and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of material safety data sheets (MSDS) and packaging compliance.

Location: Palghar, Mumbai

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
