Role Overview

This is a unique opportunity to join the India Shared Services Centre of one of the UK's fastest-growing private healthcare groups. Our client is a leading private healthcare provider offering specialist consultations, diagnostics, and treatments across multiple centres in the UK. Digital presence is central to how patients find, evaluate, and book with our client’s clinicians — and this role sits at the heart of that function.

This is a senior hands-on role sitting at the operations core of a small high-impact marketing team, members of the marketing and product team, and external agency partners. You will be reporting to the Web & Digital Marketing Manager in the UK, who carries the full digital remit across SEO, paid media, content analytics, email and website operations.

You will take ownership of day-to-day ownership execution and channel management across all of these areas functioning as the manager’s operational right hand and freeing them to focus on strategy, senior stakeholder engagement and growth direction. This is a collaborative and pro-active role – it requires the confidence and capability to run live channels independently, make evidence-based recommendations, and manage competing priorities without close supervision.

If you are looking for a role where you will have genuine ownership across the full digital mix from day one — within a well-established, patient-first healthcare brand — this is it.

Key Responsibilities

SEO & Organic Growth

  • The company has recently completed a domain migration, and the team is now in the stabilisation phase – working alongside agency partners to consolidate organic visibility and domain authority. This makes SEO a particularly high-impact and active area of focus for this role.
  • Analyse technical SEO across welbeck.com, including title tags, meta descriptions, internal linking, schema markup, and crawlability.
  • Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic trends, and Google Search Console data to identify opportunities and flag issues.
  • Manage sitemap health, indexing coverage, and redirect integrity, particularly in the context of the recent domain migration.
  • Collaborate with content, clinical teams, and agency suppliers to develop SEO-informed content briefs for service and condition pages.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and keyword research to inform content strategy and identify gaps.

Paid Media

  • Manage campaign budgets (approximately £5k/month across Google and Meta), bidding strategies, and audience targeting to maximise ROI and patient acquisition.
  • Optimise paid campaigns across Google Ads (Search, PMax, MaxConv) and paid social channels (Meta).
  • Troubleshoot conversion tracking, ensuring accurate attribution across paid channels in GA4.
  • Produce regular performance reports with actionable recommendations for budget allocation and creative direction.
  • Test ad copy, landing pages, and audience segments to continuously improve campaign performance.

Content & CMS Management

  • Manage ad-hoc content publishing and updates in Contentful to support SEO and paid campaign optimisation.
  • Support the creation of landing pages and campaign-specific content, working with designers where needed.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Own regular reporting across organic, paid, email, and website performance using GA4, Looker Studio, and HubSpot.
  • Build and maintain dashboards that surface actionable KPIs for the marketing team and senior stakeholders.
  • Analyse user behaviour through Clarity / Hotjar (heatmaps, recordings, funnels) and translate findings into CRO recommendations.
  • Support GTM implementation and tag management, ensuring accurate event tracking and data quality.
  • Work with BigQuery where required for deeper analysis and custom reporting.

Email Marketing & HubSpot

  • Maintain and improve lead capture forms across the website, including hidden field configuration and URL parameter tracking.
  • Monitor HubSpot contact data quality and support CRM hygiene alongside the wider team.

Stakeholder Management

  • Independently triage requests from the website inbox and confidently delegate to relevant team members.
  • Maintain template responses and use Jira to inform status updates and responses to wider stakeholders such as clinicians and business centre managers.

Website Management & CRO

  • Support the Web & Digital Marketing Manager with website operations, including QA, bug triage, and sprint planning.
  • Use A/B testing tools to run experiments on key conversion pages (booking flows, enquiry forms, service pages) and report on results.
  • Monitor Core Web Vitals and site performance, flagging issues and working with developers to resolve them.
  • Contribute to the website backlog by identifying UX improvements and conversion opportunities based on data.

What success looks like in the first 90 days

  • Identify one or two gaps and actionable opportunities to optimise paid campaign performance across Google and Meta.
  • Use monthly Clarity / Hotjar data to identify and recommend one or two concrete UX improvements to key conversion pages.
  • Begin documenting digital marketing processes in Confluence, targeting one or two process documents per week to build a reusable operational knowledge base.

Skills & Experience required

Must-Have

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a digital marketing role covering multiple channels — SEO, paid media, email, content, and analytics.
  • Strong working knowledge of GA4, Google Search Console, and Google Ads.
  • Experience with a headless CMS (Contentful preferred; other enterprise CMS platforms accepted).
  • Confident with data — building reports, interpreting analytics, and making evidence-based recommendations independently.
  • Solid understanding of technical SEO fundamentals: crawlability, indexation, schema markup, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Excellent written English — clear, precise, and professional across stakeholder communications.
  • Ability to work independently with a remote reporting manager — proactive communication, strong judgment, and self-driven execution are essential in this structure.
  • Comfortable working full-time from our Pune office on the UK shift.

Preferred

1. Prior experience in healthcare, private medical, or a regulated industry.

2. Familiarity with Google Tag Manager for tag and event management.

3. Experience with Power BI, Looker Studio or BigQuery for reporting and data visualisation.

4. Hands-on experience with A/B testing and user behaviour platforms (Clarity, Hotjar).

5. Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA) and inclusive design principles.

6. Experience managing technical tickets in Jira and working with external development agencies.

7. Basic HTML/CSS awareness sufficient to troubleshoot with external development agencies.

8. Exposure to domain management, DNS configuration, and related technical infrastructure.

9. Hands-on experience with HubSpot or a comparable marketing automation / CRM platform.

Working Conditions

  • Office environment in Pune (WFO), five days a week.
  • UK shift hours (12:00 PM – 9:00 PM IST); standard corporate workweek with occasional flexibility during campaign launches or reporting cycles.
  • Collaborative team setting with regular interaction with UK-based marketing colleagues, agency partners, and clinical stakeholders across time zones.
  • Exposure to a broad and varied digital remit – no two days are the same.
  • Professional development support and access to industry tools and training.
