Marketing Manager (Strategy & Growth Focus) – SoftSeason Furniture

Location: Remote or In-Person (Vancouver preferred, but not required)

Role Overview

This is a strategy-first leadership role, not just ad management.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Can own and drive the full marketing strategy
  • Understands how to scale revenue in e-commerce
  • Can either execute ads directly or lead an ads specialist
  • Focuses on profitability, conversion, and growth

Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Strategy & Growth

  • Build and execute a full-funnel marketing strategy
  • Plan campaigns for promotions, launches, and seasonal sales
  • Identify opportunities to increase conversion rate, AOV, and revenue
  • Strengthen brand positioning in the Canadian market

Paid Advertising (Execution or Oversight)

  • Manage or oversee Meta Ads and Google Ads
  • Optimize campaigns based on ROAS, CPA, and revenue performance
  • Work with internal or external ad specialists if needed
  • Ensure proper tracking (Meta Pixel, GA, etc.)

Sales & Conversion Optimization

  • Analyze and improve website performance (CRO)
  • Optimize landing pages, product pages, and offers
  • Improve the full customer journey from ad → site → purchase

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Work with internal team members and external partners
  • Provide clear direction and ensure execution aligns with strategy

Performance & Analytics

  • Track and optimize:
  • Revenue
  • Conversion rate
  • ROAS
  • Customer acquisition cost
  • Provide actionable insights and reports

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager or Growth Manager in e-commerce
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Paid ads (Meta & Google)
  • Sales funnels & customer journey
  • Conversion rate optimization (CRO)
  • Ability to think strategically and execute
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Data-driven mindset
  • Proven ability to identify and capitalize on new and emerging sales channels (including social commerce, marketplaces, and platform-driven trends) to drive scalable revenue growth
  • Experience in e-commerce brands is a plus

Work Setup
