As a Junior PR Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the public relations and client servicing for Entertainment clients. Your role will involve formulating and implementing monthly plans, strategizing for events and activities, and cultivating relationships with media, influencers, and bloggers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of high-profile clients with confidence and maturity.
- Serve as the primary representative of the firm to clients, media, and vendor partners.
- Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients and media contacts.
- Take full ownership of client accounts, ensuring you are fully informed on all relevant client details.
- Handle media interactions, prepare pitch notes, and proactively monitor opportunities for client placements.
- Review and finalize all client documentation, including press releases, plans, and reports, in collaboration with your supervisor.
- Ensure strict adherence to all deadlines and client deliverables.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and insights through various channels.
- Stay well-informed about industry developments that impact clients and use this knowledge to enhance client engagements.
- Represent both the client and the firm in all interactions with media and influencers.
- Analyze trends in traditional and digital media to identify new opportunities for client exposure.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage of your clients, ensuring comprehensive tracking.
- Conduct regular outreach to media and influencers, fostering positive relationships.
- Ensure all client documentation is of the highest quality and free of errors.
- Develop content ranging from press releases, press notes, press snippets, listicles, spokesperson's responses, speeches, authored articles based on and accurately reflecting the brand's editorial messaging, objective, brand image, services, and offerings.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for client partnerships, sponsorships, and events on an ongoing basis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in PR preferably in the Corporate / Entertainment sector who has the understanding of Business of Entertainment, OTT / Films / Event space.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities.
