Senior Supply Chain Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Engineer to lead strategic supply chain optimization initiatives and drive deep engineering integration across the end-to-end supply chain. You will act as a subject matter expert and change agent, mentoring junior engineers while delivering high-impact projects that significantly improve cost, speed, quality, and resilience.This is a high-visibility role that partners closely with leadership, manufacturing, procurement, and digital transformation teams.Key Responsibilities Lead the design, redesign, and continuous improvement of complex supply chain processes using advanced engineering principles. Drive large-scale integration of engineering and supply chain systems ( ERP , MES , PLM , TMS , WMS , IoT platforms ). Identify and eliminate systemic inefficiencies through value stream mapping, simulation modeling, and network optimization. Champion Lean-Six Sigma , Theory of Constraints, and Digital Twin initiatives across multiple sites or business units. Lead cross-functional projects to reduce total landed cost, improve service levels, and build supply chain resilience. Conduct advanced data analytics and build predictive models for demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and risk management. Mentor and guide Supply Chain Engineers and Analysts on best practices and technical problem-solving. Support global/new product introduction (NPI) programs with Design for Supply Chain (DFSC) and manufacturability inputs. Evaluate and implement emerging technologies ( AI/ML , Automation , Blockchain , Robotics ) in supply chain operations. Define and track KPIs, prepare executive dashboards, and present recommendations to senior leadership.This job is provided by Shine.com
