We are a financial planning firm that enables individuals to focus on their passions while we focus on their taxes and other financial matters. We have a part-time opportunity for an individual to prepare T1 tax returns for Tax Season 2024 (Jan-Apr 2025) and provide ongoing bookkeeping services throughout the year. The individual who is chosen for this opportunity will be reporting to the director and have the chance to build on their tax knowledge and skills.

What we are looking for

Minimum 5 tax seasons of experience at a Tax Preparation Firm in Canada
Expert level of using DT Max software
Expert level with QB online
Advanced using of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
Comfortable working with different complexities of Canadian T1 tax returns (self-employed, foreign assets, rental properties, airbnb, etc).
Comfortable working with different complexities of Canadian T2 and T3 tax returns
Fluency in English.

Nice to have

Knowledge of another language(s)

What your impact will be
