Job Description
Russell Tobin & Associates is currently seeking a Sales Development Representative to work for one of our top global tech clients! In this role, you'll be responsible for identifying and signing new restaurant partners, building relationships with local business owners, and driving growth in underserved and rural markets.
Pay: $29/hr. + commissions
Location: Hybrid- must be within 40 minutes of Lewiston, ME
Travel expenses reimbursed
This is a highly interactive, field-based sales position where the majority of business is conducted face-to-face. If you enjoy meeting new people, closing deals in a fast-paced environment, and helping small businesses grow, this is an excellent opportunity to make an impact while earning uncapped commission.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and acquire new restaurant partners within assigned territories.
- Travel throughout emerging and underserved markets to expand local footprint.
- Meet directly with restaurant owners to present the value of partnering.
- Negotiate partnership and revenue share agreements.
- Manage a high-volume, transactional sales cycle with the ability to close deals quickly.
- Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers and leverage provided sales tools and resources to maximize success.
- Develop and execute effective territory strategies to consistently achieve sales goals.
- Build strong relationships with local businesses and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of successful sales experience in a closing role, preferably selling to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
- Restaurant, hospitality, food & beverage, or local business sales experience is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently.
- Strategic approach to prospecting and managing a sales pipeline.
- Comfortable with both inside and outside sales activities.
