We are seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses to join maternity units across British Columbia. In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetric and postpartum patients while supporting newborn wellness and family-centered care. The ideal candidate is confident in acute maternal-child health environments, demonstrates strong clinical judgment, and thrives in collaborative interdisciplinary teams.
π Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care and ongoing assessments for maternity and postpartum patients
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care
Assist physicians and healthcare teams during labor, delivery, and obstetric procedures
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed
Provide newborn assessments, monitoring, and routine neonatal care
Support breastfeeding education, newborn care teaching, and discharge planning
Respond effectively to obstetric, neonatal, or medical emergencies
Collaborate closely with obstetricians, pediatricians, lactation consultants, and allied healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting
Ensure adherence to infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards
Participate in interdisciplinary communication and patient-centered care planning

β Experience supporting labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and neonatal assessments
β Knowledge of fetal monitoring and obstetric emergency response
