Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Emergency Room (ER)

📍 Location: British Columbia, Canada

🩺 Professional Summary

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join the Emergency Room (ER) in an acute care hospital setting. In this fast-paced and dynamic environment, you will play a key role in delivering timely, high-quality patient care while supporting the clinical team in managing urgent and emergent situations.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care within the Emergency Room
Assist with triage support and prioritize patient needs under the guidance of RNs and physicians
Monitor patient conditions and promptly report any changes
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols
Support emergency procedures and clinical interventions
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
Assist patients with mobility and activities of daily living (ADLs) as required
Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members
Adhere to infection control, safety, and emergency protocols

✅ Qualifications (British Columbia Standards)

Diploma in Practical Nursing or equivalent qualification
Active registration with BCCNM (British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives)
Minimum 1 year of Canadian nursing experience required (ER experience preferred)
Valid BLS certification required (ACLS considered an asset)
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a high-pressure environment
Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills

Pay Rate: CAD $40 – $47 per hour
