Fractional Manager, Financial Reporting & Advisory - external clients

Are you an experienced Audit or Accounting Advisory professional from a Public Practice firm, looking to transition into a Public Company External Financial Reporting role, but also looking for excellent work/life balance?

Our client, a growing consulting firm in Western Canada, is currently seeking a Manager of Financial Reporting to perform both outsourced external Financial Reporting services for a portfolio of clients, as well as other Accounting Advisory Services including IFRS research & memos, IPO readiness, and fractional Controller services.

This opportunity provides an exceptional amount of flexibility & work-life balance, a variety of experience servicing clients in multiple industries, and a high level of autonomy. The role would be primarily remote.

The successful candidate will have:

• 3+ years in an Audit/Assurance or Accounting Advisory function in a Public Practice environment. Experience with TSX-listed or TSX-V-listed clients or pre-IPO clients would be an asset.
• CPA designation in good standing with CPA Canada - consideration will be given to successful CFE writers who are nearing completion of their PERT requirements.
• Experience with Upstream Oil & Gas/Exploration & Production would be a definite asset.
