Senior Engineer, DevOps - Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

As a highly motivated and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer at TransUnion, your role will involve leading the design and implementation of scalable infrastructure and automated deployment pipelines. Your expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, and Harness, with a solid focus on cloud-native automation and reliability engineering, will be crucial for the success of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Harness, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ensuring modular, reusable, and secure configurations.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes across cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software lifecycle.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Optimize build and release processes to reduce deployment time and improve system uptime.
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure, automation scripts, and operational procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement in automation, scalability, and security across environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Python, and CI/CD tools (especially Harness).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
• Solid understanding of automation, configuration management, and version control systems (Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Please note that this is a hybrid position, which involves performing job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
