Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and secure net-new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, cold calling, and local market mapping (60% hunting).
  • Manage, grow, and cultivate long-term relationships with an assigned portfolio of commercial accounts, acting as a technical solution consultant (40% farming).
  • Conduct high-level sales presentations and deliver comprehensive value-add proposals to operational, purchasing, and executive-level decision-makers.
  • Collaborate closely with internal customer service and operational teams to ensure accurate quotes, reliable lead times, and seamless client onboarding.
  • Maintain a high-volume field sales schedule, traveling up to 70% within the local territory to meet clients face-to-face.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of proven success in a B2B outside sales or territory management role.
  • Experience within industrial distribution, packaging, manufacturing, or structured corporate B2B service sectors.
  • Demonstrated capability to source your own pipeline, handle complex buying influences, and independently close sales cycles.
