HR Recruitment Consultant (Full-Time, Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven HR Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment activities for IT positions while supporting HR-related initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Canadian IT industry and a passion for connecting top talent with exciting career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for IT and technology-related positions.
• Source, screen, and evaluate candidates through various recruitment channels.
• Conduct phone and virtual interviews and assess candidate qualifications.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Perform reference checks and assist with offer negotiations.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified IT professionals.
• Support onboarding and employee engagement activities.
• Maintain candidate and employee records within ATS and HR systems.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand hiring needs and workforce planning requirements.
• Stay informed about Canadian employment trends, labor market conditions, and IT hiring demands.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in HR and Recruitment within the IT industry in Canada.
• Proven experience recruiting for IT positions such as Software Developers, QA Analysts, Business Analysts, Project Managers, DevOps Engineers, Cloud Engineers, and Data Professionals.
• Strong understanding of the Canadian IT job market.
• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and online job boards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in staffing, consulting, or recruitment agencies.
• CHRP designation or working toward certification is an asset.
• Knowledge of permanent and contract staffing models.
• Experience supporting remote teams and virtual hiring processes.
