About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven HR Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment activities for IT positions while supporting HR-related initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Canadian IT industry and a passion for connecting top talent with exciting career opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for IT and technology-related positions.
- Source, screen, and evaluate candidates through various recruitment channels.
- Conduct phone and virtual interviews and assess candidate qualifications.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Perform reference checks and assist with offer negotiations.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified IT professionals.
- Support onboarding and employee engagement activities.
- Maintain candidate and employee records within ATS and HR systems.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand hiring needs and workforce planning requirements.
- Stay informed about Canadian employment trends, labor market conditions, and IT hiring demands.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in HR and Recruitment within the IT industry in Canada.
- Proven experience recruiting for IT positions such as Software Developers, QA Analysts, Business Analysts, Project Managers, DevOps Engineers, Cloud Engineers, and Data Professionals.
- Strong understanding of the Canadian IT job market.
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and online job boards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in staffing, consulting, or recruitment agencies.
- CHRP designation or working toward certification is an asset.
- Knowledge of permanent and contract staffing models.
- Experience supporting remote teams and virtual hiring processes.
