Senior Renewable Energy Systems Analyst

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Renewable Energy Systems Analyst to join their expanding operations in **Pune, Maharashtra, IN**. This role is crucial for evaluating, developing, and optimizing renewable energy projects, ensuring efficiency and sustainability. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in assessing the feasibility of solar, wind, and other renewable energy sources, contributing to India's clean energy transition. Key responsibilities include:

Conducting in-depth technical and economic feasibility studies for new renewable energy projects, including solar PV, wind farms, and hybrid systems. Developing and validating complex energy production models using industry-standard software. Analyzing grid interconnection requirements and potential impacts of renewable energy integration. Performing site assessments and data analysis to determine optimal system design and placement. Evaluating the performance of existing renewable energy assets and recommending improvements. Preparing detailed technical reports, proposals, and presentations for project stakeholders, investors, and regulatory bodies. Collaborating with project developers, EPC contractors, and equipment suppliers to ensure project success. Staying current with advancements in renewable energy technologies, market trends, and policy changes. Contributing to the development of long-term energy strategies and decarbonization roadmaps. Ensuring compliance with national and international standards for renewable energy projects.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related field. A minimum of 6 years of professional experience specifically in the renewable energy sector. Demonstrated expertise in energy modeling software (e.g., PVSyst, HOMER, SAM). Strong understanding of power systems, grid integration, and energy economics. Proven ability to analyze technical data and translate it into actionable insights. Excellent report writing and presentation skills. Experience with project management principles is a plus. Knowledge of Indian energy policies and regulatory landscape is highly desirable. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating project risks.
