Program Manager - Non-Profit Impact Initiatives

Our client, a respected organization dedicated to humanitarian causes within the Charity & Voluntary sector, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Manager to lead impactful initiatives in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, IN . This role is crucial for the planning, execution, and oversight of programs aimed at community development, social welfare, and sustainable change. You will work closely with local communities, stakeholders, and volunteers to ensure programs are delivered effectively, meet their objectives, and create lasting positive impacts. Responsibilities: Oversee the entire lifecycle of assigned programs, from conceptualization and planning to implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. Develop detailed program plans, including budgets, timelines, resource allocation, and performance metrics. Manage program activities to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Build and maintain strong relationships with community members, local authorities, partner organizations, and beneficiaries. Mobilize and manage volunteers, providing guidance, support, and motivation. Monitor program progress, collect data, and prepare regular progress reports for senior management and donors. Identify and mitigate program risks, developing contingency plans as needed. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, ethical standards, and donor requirements. Facilitate community engagement and participatory processes to ensure program relevance and ownership. Contribute to fundraising efforts by assisting in the development of proposals and reports. Evaluate program outcomes and impact, identifying lessons learned and best practices for future initiatives. Represent the organization at community meetings and relevant forums. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Public Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, preferably within the non-profit or charity sector. Demonstrated experience in planning, implementing, and monitoring social development or community-based programs. Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work effectively with diverse communities and stakeholders. Experience in budget management and financial oversight. Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
