Lead Curriculum Developer - STEM Education

As the Lead Curriculum Developer, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire curriculum development lifecycle for STEM subjects across various grade levels. You will lead a team of subject matter experts, instructional designers, and educators to design, develop, and implement engaging, effective, and standards-aligned curricula. Your role will involve defining learning objectives, designing instructional strategies, developing assessment tools, and ensuring the integration of relevant technologies and pedagogical best practices. • *Key Responsibilities:***Lead the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive STEM curricula for K-12 or higher education levels. Manage and mentor a team of curriculum specialists, instructional designers, and subject matter experts. Ensure curriculum alignment with national and state educational standards and best practices. Develop engaging instructional materials, including lesson plans, student activities, assessments, and digital resources. Collaborate with educators to pilot, evaluate, and refine curriculum materials based on feedback and student performance data. Stay current with educational research, trends, and advancements in STEM education. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively for curriculum development initiatives. Contribute to professional development programs for educators on curriculum implementation and best practices. Qualifications:***Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, STEM Education, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in curriculum development, with a significant focus on STEM subjects. Proven experience in leading and managing teams of educators and instructional designers. Deep understanding of pedagogical theories, instructional design principles, and assessment methodologies. Experience developing curriculum for diverse learners and integrating educational technologies. Excellent project management, organizational, and leadership skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
