Curriculum Developer (STEM Focus)

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and revise curriculum materials for STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) across various educational levels. Incorporate current research in learning theory and instructional design to create effective and engaging learning experiences. Develop learning objectives, lesson plans, assessments, and instructional resources that are aligned with curriculum standards. Collaborate with subject matter experts, teachers, and administrators to ensure curriculum relevance and quality. Integrate technology and digital tools effectively into the curriculum to enhance learning outcomes. Conduct needs assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of existing curricula, making necessary modifications. Develop and facilitate professional development workshops for educators on curriculum implementation and instructional strategies. Ensure curriculum content is inclusive, culturally responsive, and addresses diverse learning needs. Stay informed about advancements in STEM education, emerging technologies, and relevant industry trends. Manage curriculum development projects from conception to implementation, adhering to timelines and budgets. Contribute to the development of grant proposals and funding applications related to curriculum initiatives. Review and select appropriate textbooks, software, and other educational materials. Qualifications: Master's degree or Ph.D. in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics), or a closely related discipline. A minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or educational program management, with a specific emphasis on STEM education. Proven expertise in curriculum design principles, instructional strategies, and assessment development. Strong understanding of pedagogical theories and best practices in STEM education. Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and educational technology tools. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
