Lead Curriculum Developer - STEM Focus

Our client is looking for an innovative and experienced Lead Curriculum Developer to design and implement cutting-edge educational programs with a strong emphasis on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). This role requires a deep understanding of pedagogical principles, instructional design methodologies, and the ability to translate complex subject matter into engaging and effective learning experiences for students of various age groups. You will be responsible for the entire curriculum development lifecycle, from conceptualization and content creation to assessment design and evaluation.

Key responsibilities include researching educational trends and best practices, developing learning objectives, designing lesson plans, creating instructional materials (including digital resources, presentations, and hands-on activities), and establishing robust assessment strategies to measure student learning outcomes. You will collaborate closely with educators, subject matter experts, and administrators to ensure the curriculum is aligned with educational standards and meets the evolving needs of learners. This position also involves training and mentoring junior curriculum developers and providing guidance on instructional design principles.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related STEM field, coupled with a minimum of 7 years of experience in curriculum design and development, preferably within a K-12 or higher education setting. Demonstrated expertise in STEM education and a passion for fostering innovation in teaching and learning are crucial. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and various educational technologies are required.
