Job Description
An urgent care clinic in Liberal, Kansas is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced outpatient environment. This full-time role includes 12-hour rotating shifts, competitive hourly pay, and a sign-on bonus, making it a strong opportunity for both experienced providers and new graduates starting their careers in urgent care.Providers will evaluate patients with acute illnesses and injuries, perform procedures, and collaborate with supervising physicians and clinic staff to deliver efficient, patient-centered care.Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical exams
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans
- Perform procedures such as laceration repair and orthopedic care
- Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care
- Document patient encounters accurately in the EHRQualifications
- Active Kansas NP license
- FNP certification preferred
