Job Description
What if your next NP role came with a salary you could actually control? A physician-led mobile wound care program in northern New Jersey is hiring an experienced Nurse Practitioner for a bedside wound care position unlike most of what you'll find on the market right now. The compensation model is straightforward and refreshingly honest — 3 days per week pays $96,000–$99,000, and 4 days per week pays $128,000–$132,000. You decide what fits your life. Either way, the schedule stays Monday–Friday, the nights stay free, the weekends stay yours, and the on-call never comes.
You'll float between Essex and Morris County facilities — skilled nursing and assisted living settings where your clinical expertise makes a tangible difference for a patient population that rarely gets this level of dedicated wound care attention. Territory assigned, iPad provided, UltraMIST training included, and a built-in certification pathway means your earning potential grows as your expertise deepens.

- Float between skilled nursing and assisted living facilities across Essex & Morris County
- Perform comprehensive wound evaluations, physical exams, and patient assessments
- Operate UltraMIST device for advanced wound therapy (full training provided)
- Order and interpret labs, vascular testing, and EKGs as clinically indicated
- Build and manage individualized wound care treatment plans
- Document all visits via mobile EMR on provided iPad
- Educate patients, families, and facility care teams on wound care protocols
- Partner with attending physicians and interdisciplinary teams across facilities
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted New Jersey NP license
- AGACNP, AGPCNP, AGNP, ANP, CNM, CNS, or DNP credential
- DEA license and prescriptive authority required

- Autonomous, organized, and comfortable managing a mobile multi-facility territory
- Mobile EMR proficiency and strong technology comfort required
