Description
- Assist in managing ground-up construction projects from planning through completion
- Support project teams on scheduling, budgeting, and documentation
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Track project progress and ensure alignment with timelines and budgets
- Utilize project management software to maintain accurate records and reporting
- Help oversee projects valued at $20M+ across sectors such as education, healthcare, and residential
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- The Assistant Project Manager - DC will collaborate closely with senior leadership and site teams
- Contribute to the successful execution of complex builds throughout the DMV area
Profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar construction/project management role (preferred)
- Experience supporting at least one ground-up construction project (required)
- Background working on apartments, hospitals, libraries, schools, or universities (preferred)
- Proven experience with projects valued at $20M or more (preferred)
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with PlanGrid, Procore, Sage 300 Timberline, and/or Textura preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Job Offer
- Base salary: $85,000 - $100,000
- Bonus: Up to 10%
