Responsibilities
Experience in a medical office required.
Manage administrative working during office hours
Enter patient demographic info into EHR and update patient notes.
Follow-up with insurance companies on unpaid claims, get pre-authorizations, negotiate claims, etc
Organize, scan, and upload documents into appropriate systems
Book surgeries, follow-up with insurance company on authorization, claims, negotiations, and payment.
Skills
Candidate must have strong verbal and written communications skills.
Candidate must have appropriate telephone and personal etiquette with patients.
Must be proficient with PC skills
Answer phone calls, greet patients, and process paperwork and payment
Must be organized, detail oriented, and results driven
Must be proficient with Word, Excel, and Google Docs
Must be able to work out of Hillsborough office
Knowledge of Social media marketing/posting skills a BIG plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
