Job Description – Inside Sales Specialist (Medical Devices)

Role Summary
The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for generating and qualifying leads, engaging hospitals, clinics and healthcare professionals remotely, scheduling product demonstrations, maintaining the sales pipeline, and supporting the field sales team across South India to drive commercial growth. You will be directly reporting to the founder.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation:
- Generate leads through research, referrals, social media, conferences and other marketing channels.
- Make outbound calls, emails and WhatsApp outreach to hospitals, clinics and distributors.
- Qualify prospects by understanding clinical needs, patient volumes, budgets and decision makers.
Demo Scheduling and On-Field team guidance:
- Schedule product demonstrations for the on-field team
- Coordinate with the On-Field Product demonstration and Sales team.
- Perform online demonstrations.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Handle customer support and service requirements, in coordination with the tech team.
- Gather customer feedback and share market intelligence with product and marketing teams.
Documentation and Follow-ups:
- Follow up consistently on quotations, demos and purchase decisions.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipeline.
- Coordinate proposals, quotations and commercial documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science.
- 0–3 years of inside sales, business development or healthcare sales experience.
- Freshers with strong communication skills may also apply.

- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong phone and email etiquette
- Presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to build relationships with doctors and hospital administrators
- Self-motivated and target-oriented
- Proficiency in English and Tamil; working knowledge of other South Indian regional languages (Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam) is an advantage; Hindi is also an advantage.
Salary
Fixed CTC of ₹3 – 4 LPA, with performance-based incentives on successful sales closures.
