Role Overview:

As a Store Manager at Lenskart, you play a crucial role in bridging the gap between strategy and execution. Your primary responsibility is to drive the store towards achieving various metrics such as Store Sales, Conversions, and Customer Satisfaction. It is essential to maintain a high level of morale among the store staff, develop them, control attrition, and ensure smooth operations at the store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer focus: Drive Net Promoter Score (NPS) by greeting customers, coaching the team to do the same, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Drive sales vs. plan: Meet sales targets by allocating targets to staff, fostering a culture of high sales performance expectations, and motivating the team.
  • People development (Attrition Control): Recruit high-potential staff, provide on-the-job training, deliver constructive feedback, and control attrition.
  • Cash & Inventory management: Monitor cash reconciliation, ensure merchandise availability, conduct stocktakes, and supervise transactions.
  • Supervision: Take care of store employees, resolve their issues, ensure proper eye check-ups, and maintain SOP adherence.
  • SOP adherence & implementation: Implement and ensure adherence to retail SOPs, update colleagues on business performance, and schedule team shifts.
  • Store upkeep & maintenance: Maintain store cleanliness, ensure equipment security, and uphold Lenskart standards.

Qualifications

  • Any Degree with more than 4 years in retail store management OR 12th Pass with more than 6 years in retail.
