Entry-Level .NET Software Developer
Location: Hybrid/onsite in Bethesda, MD - onsite 2-3 days

Join us as a motivated Entry-Level .NET Software Developer working on exciting and impactful projects within the Government Health and Safety Solutions Operation in Bethesda, MD. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to mission-critical federal health systems and be part of a team developing modern, scalable solutions in both on-prem and Azure cloud environments.
Position Overview
As a Junior Developer, you will be integral in researching, designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications for our clients. You will leverage Microsoft .NET technologies and Azure cloud services, engaging in full lifecycle development within an Agile framework while adhering to best practices in secure development and DevSecOps methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and secure enterprise applications.
- Create .NET applications on Microsoft Azure, focusing on Azure Functions, Web APIs, and Logic Apps.
- Write clean and efficient code following software engineering best practices.
- Support software configuration management and understand software component interfaces.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and the Azure platform.
- Collaborate with diverse teams in an Agile Scrum environment.
- Contribute to software quality and improvement initiatives.
- Develop knowledge of Azure AI Foundry and Copilot Studio for intelligent application capabilities.
Key Technical Responsibilities
- Design and develop applications using ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, REST, XML.
- Develop C# applications with Microsoft Visual Studio and ORM frameworks.
- Create Windows console applications driving object-oriented design.
- Manage SQL Server and MySQL database scripts with SQL and T-SQL.
- Design responsive web interfaces using HTML5, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery.
- Create interactive graphs and charts with Telerik UI and third-party components.
- Implement Web Services, WCF, and Web APIs.
- Manage application-level security and authentication.
- Develop reports and dashboards using Power BI and SSRS.
Required Education Experience & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, ADO.NET, Entity Framework.
- Proficient in developing RESTful and SOAP-based web services.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Functions, Web APIs, and Logic Apps.
- Background in building enterprise-scale applications integrating databases and services.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design and console application development.
- Front-end proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery, AJAX.
- Experience with Telerik UI or similar frameworks.
- Strong SQL skills with SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, and functions.
- Experience creating reports using Power BI and SSRS.
- Proficient in Git and modern version control practices.
- Familiar with Azure DevSecOps and cloud security protocols.
- Willing to learn about Azure AI Foundry and Copilot Studio.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in federal or healthcare environments.
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert preferred.
- Azure certifications are beneficial.

Pay Range: $69,550.00 - $125,725.00
