Quality Inspector

We're looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals to join our client’s team as a Quality Controller/Logistics Receiver in St. Catharines, ON!

In this full-time, permanent role, you’ll help our client with their quality assurance and receiving needs.

What You’ll Do:

• Inspect all media, raw materials, machined and fabricated parts from suppliers
• Review all quality documents submitted by the suppliers
• Complete all necessary quality documents during the inspection
• Archive quality documents into SAP
• Complete NCR documents as necessary and follow the NCR process for reviewing
• Review and maintain the NCR folder on the file server to ensure information is accurate
• Visit suppliers, as necessary, to inspect purchased items
• Review all incoming goods to ensure accuracy to supplier packing slips
• Stage all partial orders in appropriate locations (3PRT / FMP)
• Capture picked items in the Order Management system for every order shipping
• Deliver all picked materials to shipping that are ready to ship (when ”picked”)
• Allocate stock to appropriate locations while maintaining a well-organized warehouse
• Record all “goods movement” in the warehouse into SAP and print the material cards as required
• Work with the Production Inventory Controller (PIC) to obtain drawings and goods receipts as required
• Maintain work area following 5’s standards
• Work in a safe manner by adhering to all Company Health & Safety policies and Legislated Regulations
• And all other duties as required

What We’re Looking For:

• College diploma or higher
• Experience in Quality Inspection and receiving

Pay Rate:

• $23.00 - $32.15/hour depending on experience
