Job description

Job Title: Application Developer – Azure (Production Support)

Location: Toronto, ON (1 Day/Week Onsite)

Duration: 6 Months (possible extension)

We are seeking an Application Developer with 3–5 years of experience in application development and production support. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure cloud services, SQL development, troubleshooting, and DevOps practices.

Key Skills:

Azure App Services, Function Apps, Data Factory, Data Lake, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, NSGs
Azure SQL / SQL MI, complex SQL queries, Stored Procedures, indexing, partitioning, execution plans
Azure Log Analytics, KQL, Application Insights
PowerShell / Azure CLI scripting
Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipeline authoring (YAML)
Infrastructure as Code (Bicep / ARM templates)
REST API integrations and production support troubleshooting

Preferred

Power BI reporting and analytics
Experience integrating external systems via APIs

Requirements

Strong SDLC knowledge and application support experience
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to new technologies
Production support experience is mandatory
