🔧 Manufacturing Technician II (Team Lead – 2nd Shift)

We’re currently hiring a Manufacturing Technician II (Team Lead) to join a dynamic production team in Markham! If you have hands-on panel assembly experience and enjoy leading teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this role is for you.

💼 About the Role

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you’ll play a hands-on leadership role supporting and coordinating production activities during the 2nd shift (3:30 pm – 12:00 am). You’ll help drive safety, quality, and productivity while mentoring team members on the shop floor.

💰 Compensation

• Pay Rate: $24.00 – $25.00/hour + 4% vacation pay
• Consistent full-time hours (Monday–Friday, afternoons)

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the afternoon shift production team to meet daily targets
• Participate in panel assembly, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting
• Assign tasks, monitor workflow, and provide on-the-job training
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and company policies
• Coordinate shift handover with the morning team
• Maintain accurate inventory within production cells
• Track production progress and report updates to supervisors
• Utilize SAP for daily operations
• Identify and resolve production issues efficiently

✅ Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of panel manufacturing or assembly experience
• Minimum 1 year of team lead or supervisory experience
• Ability to work afternoon shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM)

🌟 Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Strong safety mindset and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with SAP and MS Office tools
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification is an asset
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
