Job description

Job Title: Cable Technicians

Location: Gaithersburg MD / Frederick MD

Duration: 3-6 month contract/Possible Contract-to-Hire

Pay Rate: 22-25/HR

Job Description

Pull, terminate, test and label copper data cabling and fiber optics
Terminate data jacks and patch panels
Install ladder racks, networking equipment and telephone equipment
Perform testing and troubleshooting of equipment and cabling
Build out telecommunications and equipment rooms
Ability to travel to variety of job sites
Own transportation required
Industry certifications preferred
Work in construction environments
Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Must have experience terminating Cat5e/Cat6 cabling
May work off ladders as needed
Experience working with scissor/boom lifts preferred
Telecom hand tools and personal protection equipment required

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
