Job Description
Role- Cloud DevOps SME
Calgary– Onsite
6 Months contract with possible extension
Role Descriptions:
Cloud DevOps SME responsible for designing and implementing Azure and AWS cloud architectures, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and AKS. Provides hands-on expertise in DevOps automation, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes deployments, and GenAI/LLM solutions, while supporting multi‑cloud environments, migrations, security, compliance, and customer-facing architecture discussions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a Cloud DevOps Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and solution design initiatives
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab
- Build, manage, and deploy containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
- Design and implement cloud foundation services across Azure and AWS environments
- Lead Kubernetes-based deployments and infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Support GenAI / LLM solution development and scaling in cloud environments
- Participate in architecture discussions, CAB reviews, and provide technical leadership
- Produce and maintain technical documentation including HLD/LLD
Required Skills
- Design and implementation of cloud foundation services such as VNET, VPN, ExpressRoute, Azure AD, Azure Site Recovery (ASR), and AWS Migration Hub
- Hands-on experience building and scaling GenAI solutions using Python, FastAPI, PyTorch, Hugging Face, Azure ML, and AWS SageMake
- DevOps & Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- CI/CD implementation using Azure DevOps or GitLab
- Infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Azure Bicep, and ARM templates
- Kubernetes-based application deployments
