Job Description

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

  • Provide network operations and engineering sustainment support for a mission-critical IP messaging and communications transport network.
  • Develop and continuously improve STIG compliant configuration baselines, versioning, and compliance tracking.
  • Lead development of SOPs/TTPs and support Continuous Service Improvements.
  • Perform technical maintenance involving network devices including firewalls, VPNs, IPS, load balancers, routers, switches, and security solutions.
  • Participate in engineering meetings to ensure operational readiness for new solutions.

What You'll Need

  • Active DoD Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Security+ Certification or other DOD 8570 IAT Lvl II Certification.
  • 4+ years’ experience engineering and troubleshooting networks, including MPLS, VPNs, and routing protocols.
  • Strong understanding and in-depth knowledge of IP network/subnet addressing.
  • Hands-on experience deploying, configuring and troubleshooting Cisco enterprise network devices.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% OCONUS.
  • Bachelor's degree and 4-8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's with 2-6 years of experience.
