Position Summary
You will be a field-based Area Medical Advisor for specialty medicines in India. You will build trusted scientific relationships with healthcare professionals and external experts. You will share clear, balanced evidence, gather clinical insights and help shape local medical strategy. We value curiosity, integrity, teamwork and a focus on patient impact. To provide high-quality scientific and medical expertise, support medical education initiatives, engage with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders, and
contribute medical inputs to brand and business strategy in line with GSK standards and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain credible scientific relationships with Healthcare Practitioners (HCPs), KOLs, and external experts.
- Plan and deliver CMEs, symposia, speaker programs, trainings, and scientific meetings.
- Deliver clear, accurate, and on-label scientific presentations for GSK products.
- Support Scientific Engagement (SE) activities as per Medical Plans and internal codes.
- Develop strong expertise in oncology brands and associated scientific activities.
- Stay updated on disease area knowledge, GSK molecules, and product information.
- Provide medical inputs into brand strategy and tactical execution.
- Support feasibility, design, and execution of field research and studies.
- Support pharmacovigilance activities and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams.
Educational Qualifications
- Minimum: MBBS with postgraduate qualification (MD)
- Preferred: MD in Pharmacology / General Medicine / Paediatrics / Community Medicine or related specialties
Experience Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry (medical affairs preferred)
- Experience presenting scientific content to varied audiences
- Understanding of ICH-GCP, compliance, and promotional regulations
- Prior experience in Respiratory or other specialty therapy areas is an advantage
