Role Overview:

As a Senior Telecom Network Engineer for our client, a major telecommunications provider, you will be instrumental in the deployment and optimization of their cutting-edge 5G network infrastructure in Charlotte, North Carolina, US. Your deep understanding of wireless network technologies, specifically in 4G/LTE and 5G NR, will be crucial in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex network solutions to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and document network designs, configurations, and procedures.
• Collaborate with RF engineering teams on site acquisition and deployment strategies.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee the implementation of network equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in telecommunications network engineering, with a focus on wireless technologies.
• Proven experience with 4G/LTE and 5G NR network deployment and optimization.
• Strong understanding of RF principles, propagation, and antenna systems.
• Expertise in IP networking, including routing, switching, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with network planning and simulation tools.
• Experience with network monitoring and performance analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
