You are a dynamic and entrepreneurial leader sought for Bangalore operations in the Insurance Broking or General Insurance space. Your role involves complete ownership of revenue growth, team building, market expansion, and profitability.

  • *Key Responsibilities**
  • **P&L Ownership**
  • You will be fully accountable for revenue, EBITDA, margins, and cost management.
  • Develop and implement annual operating plans in line with corporate strategy.
  • Drive sustainable and profitable growth in retail and corporate segments.
  • Monitor financial performance, MIS, forecasts, and take corrective actions as needed.
  • **Revenue & Business Development**
  • Lead the acquisition of large corporate accounts and key partnerships.
  • Expand cross-selling and upselling across various product lines like Health, Motor, Property, Liability, and Specialty.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with insurers for competitive placement and product innovation.
  • Identify new revenue streams, including digital distribution and affinity partnerships.
  • **Strategic Planning & Market Expansion**
  • Develop a 35 year growth strategy encompassing geographic and segment expansion.
  • Strengthen the company's position in emerging segments such as cyber insurance, SME, and employee perks.
  • **Operations & Risk Management**
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI).
  • Drive operational efficiency, process automation, and enhance customer experience.
  • Supervise underwriting coordination, claims advocacy, and maintain policy servicing standards.
  • **Team Leadership**
  • Build and lead high-performance sales, placement, and operations teams.
  • Establish performance KPIs and foster a culture of strong accountability.
  • Provide mentorship to second-line leaders and facilitate succession planning.
