Senior Manager Financial Planning Analysis

We are recruiting on behalf of a rapidly expanding, globally recognized professional services firm with global roots and a growing North American footprint. This is not a traditional FP&A role.

The business is seeking a forward‑thinking CPA who is excited by the opportunity to re‑imagine FP&A—someone with natural curiosity around emerging technology, artificial intelligence, and how automation can drive better insight, faster decision‑making, and greater efficiency.

As Senior Manager, FP&A, you’ll sit at the centre of a growing local finance team, partnering closely with leadership to shape insight, influence strategy, and continuously improve how finance supports the business. Beyond core FP&A responsibilities, you’ll have real scope to explore and apply AI‑driven solutions—from enhancing forecasting to automating recurring tasks through tools, agents, and lightweight applications.

Key Responsibilities & Oversight:

• Lead the preparation and analysis of management reporting to support strategic decision‑making
• Build and enhance financial models for forecasting, scenario planning, and growth initiatives
• Drive budgeting, planning, and variance analysis across a complex, multi‑jurisdictional environment
• Partner with operations and business leaders to deliver actionable insights
• Identify opportunities to automate, optimize, and modernize FP&A processes, including leveraging AI‑based tools and solutions
• Support operational finance initiatives and continuous process improvement
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, controls, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with international teams to ensure consistency and scalability across regions
• Translate complex financial data into clear, compelling insights for senior stakeholders

Key attributes of the ideal candidate:

• CPA designation with strong experience in FP&A, management reporting, financial modeling, and analysis
• A naturally curious and inquisitive mindset, particularly around AI, automation, and new technology
• Awareness of how AI can be applied within finance (e.g. forecasting, data analysis, workflow automation); hands‑on experimentation or exposure to building agents/apps is a strong asset
• Confident communicator with polished executive presence and the ability to influence across functions
• Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, high‑growth, global organization
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to balance detail and big‑picture thinking
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and comfortable challenging the status quo
• Able to thrive in a remote or hybrid working environment
