Job Summary
As our Inventory Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of our operations by overseeing the entire inventory lifecycle. From forecasting demand and managing stock levels to optimizing warehouse operations and building strong inter-departmental relationships, you will be a driving force behind keeping our business running efficiently through real-time inventory accuracy. You will also contribute meaningfully to our Planning and Procurement team.
Annual Salary: $100,000.00 (one hundred thousand U.S. dollars)
Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00 AM ET to 5:00 PM ET, and every other Saturday 7:00 AM ET to 12:00 PM ET (Saturday schedule March through December)
Responsibilities
● Inventory Control:
○ Maintain accurate and real-time records of all inventory items, including location, quantity, and value.
○ Implement and refine inventory control systems and procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize costs.
○ Analyze sales data and forecast future demand to ensure sufficient stock availability.
○ Monitor inventory levels and inform Planners to avoid stockouts and maintain target stock levels ensuring optimal supply chain replenishment.
○ Manage and track inventory-related orders.
○ Conduct regular physical inventories, cycle counts, audits, and reconcile discrepancies in addition to full, timely reporting of the same.
○ Use Oracle NetSuite application to monitor supply and demand and document characteristics of inventory.
● Planning and Procurement ○ Utilize NetSuite’s MRP functionality to drive inventory planning, ensuring accurate Raw Material availability, optimized stock levels and aligned procurement workflows. ○ Drive inventory performance through KPI visibility and continuous improvement initiatives by monitoring metrics such as inventory turns, fill rate, forecast accuracy, and obsolete/discontinued inventory. ○ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with inventory control, manufacturing, quality assurance, and finance teams to align procurement and planning activities with sales goals and budgetary constraints. ○ Collaborate with IT teams and vendors on ERP system upgrades, customizations, integrations, data migrations, and digital transformation initiatives.
● Warehouse/Yard Operations:
○ Actively participate in and contribute to the efficient operation of the warehouse and yarding operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods.
○ Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met.
○ Actively participate in and contribute to warehouse and yarding operations safety and security protocols.
○ Optimize warehouse and yard layout and workflow to improve efficiency and productivity.
● Project Management: ○ Develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with peers to secure the best possible outcome on projects. ○ Lead inventory management-related projects.

● Reporting and Analysis:
○ Generate reports and provide analysis on inventory levels, inventory adjustments, stock movement, and internal inventory operational performance.
○ Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in inventory management practices. Report analysis accordingly.
○ Analyze trends in inventory count adjustments and propose improvements to the process to reduce such adjustments in the future.
○ Analyze any inventory shrinkage.
○ Present reports and recommendations to management.
Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
● Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
● Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing; both raw materials and finished goods.
● Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing.
● Hands-on experience with audited year end physical inventories is a plus.
● Strong problem-solving skills.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Exceptional analytical skills.
● Experience with Google Workspace applications such as Google Docs and Google Sheets (vlookup, pivot table).
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Preferred
● APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP)
● Exposure to demand planning/forecasting tools
