Senior DevOps / Cloud Engineer

Contract: May 6, 2026 – May 5, 2027 (252 business days)

Security Clearance: CRJMC

We are seeking a Senior DevOps / Cloud Engineer to design, build, and support scalable cloud environments for digital solutions. This role focuses on AWS infrastructure, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and platform reliability within a secure, enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure delivery
• Administer OpenShift (ROSA) clusters and containerized environments
• Implement automation using Ansible for configuration and deployment
• Ensure system performance, availability, and security compliance
• Monitor cloud environments and lead incident response and resolution

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, EKS/ECS, IAM, VPC, Route 53, CloudFront)
• Expertise in Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• Hands-on experience with Ansible (configuration management)
• Experience with OpenShift (ROSA) and container platforms (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
• Knowledge of cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization
• Experience with monitoring & observability tools (CloudWatch)

Nice to Have

• Experience with GitOps tools (ArgoCD)
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.)
• Experience working in complex Linux-based cloud environments
• Familiarity with security tools (SAST, container scanning, etc.)
