About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Payroll Associate to manage end-to-end payroll operations for our India workforce. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Indian payroll processes, statutory compliance, and demonstrate exceptional communication and email writing skills. This position requires precision, confidentiality, and adherence to timelines while working closely with HR and Finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for India employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Validate inputs including attendance, leave data, new hires, separations, and variable pay components.
• Ensure statutory compliance with PF, ESI, PT, Income Tax, Gratuity, and other applicable laws.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors for payroll inputs, reconciliations, and issue resolution.
• Handle employee payroll queries professionally and provide timely support.
• Prepare and maintain payroll records, reports, and documentation for audits and reviews.
• Support continuous process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Stay current with payroll legislation changes and ensure ongoing compliance

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of hands-on experience in India payroll processing.
• In-depth understanding of payroll systems, statutory compliance, and payroll reporting.
• Strong MS Excel skills and familiarity with payroll software/tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Comfortable working in a US shift (7:00 PM – 4:00 AM IST).
