Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Insurance Sales Representative. The Insurance Sales Representative will contact and follow up with prospective and existing clients, conduct virtual meetings, and assess insurance needs based on each client’s situation. Responsibilities include presenting suitable life and supplemental insurance options, explaining policy details in clear terms, and guiding clients through applications and enrollment. The role also involves managing a pipeline of leads, maintaining accurate records in the CRM, and providing ongoing policy support and service. The Insurance Sales Representative will collaborate with team leaders, attend online training sessions, and stay current on product offerings and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in consultative sales, needs-based selling, and building long-term client relationships.
• Strong communication abilities, including virtual presentation skills, active listening, and clear written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with basic digital tools and remote work platforms (e.g., video conferencing, CRM systems, email, and online scheduling).
• Solid organizational skills, including time management, prioritization, and accurate recordkeeping.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting performance targets and service standards.
• Comfort discussing financial and insurance concepts with individuals and families in a respectful, empathetic manner.
• Previous experience in insurance, financial services, or sales is preferred but not always required; willingness to learn is essential.
• Provincial-specific insurance license or willingness and eligibility to obtain required licenses within specified timeframes. LLQP
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or professional certifications in business, finance, or related fields are a plus.
