Interested in leading the marketing strategy for Amazon Credit Cards? The Amazon Payment Products team seeks a high performing marketer who will thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy testing and scaling innovative marketing campaigns, and is a strategic thought leader.
You will be responsible for building an annual plan and strategy to drive awareness and engagement of cardmember benefits like rewards on amazon and across restaurants, gas stations, ride share and more, . You will lead projects from end to end, partnering with a team of high caliber marketers, data science, design, and product managers across Amazon to execute on that strategy. You will think creatively to define the right messaging, segment and channel strategies while paying special attention to regulatory and compliance requirements. You will be responsible for diving into the data and sharing the performance of your initiatives - course correcting and scaling to deliver results. You will share your results regularly with senior leaders and stakeholders across Amazon. You must be able to work at the strategic level, generating bold and innovative customer focused ideas and messaging, and at the tactical level, optimizing campaigns with merchandising tools, analyzing traffic data and solving problems.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced marketing manager who can think and communicate strategically, execute flawlessly, and be a strong coach and mentor. To be successful you’ll need to be an effective thought leader and a strong communicator who can earn trust with key stakeholders across multiple teams. You must have a strong grasp of business performance metrics with ability to deep dive in this area and use your findings to identify business opportunities and translate these into effective marketing strategy. If you are organized, analytical, and data driven, with an interest in independently owning your strategy and roadmap, this is a great role for you.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead initiatives end to end, working with cross functional teams – legal, finance, product, design, consumer insights, data science, and bank partners – to optimize, execute and deliver campaigns
- Work with internal partner teams such as Prime, Retail, Amazon Advertising to open, learn and execute in new and existing marketing channels on Amazon.com
Create, manage, & report on the Prime Card Bonus rewards retail & marketing calendar.
- Partner with internal design and research teams to create marketing campaigns and market research studies
- Analyze the performance of campaigns, and share results of campaigns with senior leaders and stakeholders
- Coordinate initiatives with key financial partners, working backwards to ensure a streamlined execution and approval process to launch initiatives
- Demonstrate high attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs
- Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
