As a Product Marketing Manager you’ll have the opportunity to develop and influence the success of B2B, B2B2C and B2C marketing strategies to educate the consumer as well as develop strategies and campaigns to support sales.

The Job:

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy for LGM products in support of corporate goals. The Product Marketing Manager will:

  • Work with the strategic insights team to conduct market research, identifying customer needs and preferences.
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market.
  • Create go-to-market plans, including launch strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to create sales enablement materials.
  • Measure and analyze marketing campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Oversee the event calendar and other regional associations activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Analysis & Strategy:

  • Review market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop and implement product marketing strategies aligned with business goals.

Messaging & Positioning:

  • Craft compelling product messages that resonate with target audiences.
  • Ensure consistent product messaging across all marketing channels.

Go-to-Market Execution:

  • Plan and execute product launches and promotional campaigns.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation.

Sales Enablement:

  • Develop materials and tools to support the sales team.
  • Develop communications to help sales representatives convey product messaging and value proposition to dealers.

Performance Measurement:

  • Establish marketing goals, KPIs, and tracking based on past performance and market forecasts
  • Report on project progress and KPIs, keeping executives and other key stakeholders informed
  • Own the tracking, attribution, and measurement of performance metrics (ROAS, incrementality, lift, etc.) using a combination of in-house and third-party data
  • Provide insights and recommendations for optimization

Events:

  • Lead LGM’s participation in regional and national events throughout the year, with the support of the Communications Coordinator and Marcom Specialist.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to finalize participation strategy and required support.
  • Be the liaison between regional automotive associations and LGM to keep memberships current, stay on top of regional events and identify new opportunities.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in product marketing within a B2B and B2C environment.
  • Strong understanding of product management and marketing dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
  • Outstanding problem solving, analytical skills and ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives.
  • Strong collaboration, partnering and consultative skills.
  • Proven ability to work with & influence cross-functional departments.
  • Ability to think strategically, implement and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Education

  • Post-secondary degree in marketing or business administration, or related discipline.

Experience

  • 8-10 years marketing experience
  • Experience in insurance or the automotive industry an asset
  • Ability to speak and write French an asset

  • The compensation range for this position is $80,000 – 100,000
  • Hybrid work model (2 days in the office)
